Making the decision to seek out psychiatric care can be one that is not easy and has taken time and self-reflection to take the next step in your mental health care. When you are ready to make the first appointment, we know that time is of the essence. Our goal is to be able to schedule your first appointment within 2-3 weeks. In order to do so, please take into consideration the following policies.
Your first appointment allows us time to get to know your past history, current goals for care and long term goals as well. We set aside an hour to allow time to establish a working relationship. The first appointment also has the highest rate of patients not showing for their appointment. In order to respect the provider's time as well as other patients, we request one of the following during the scheduling process.
If you choose to schedule your first appointment during initial call, we require a credit card to be stored encrypted in our system and a $100 deposit. This will be credited to your account for future co-pays or deductibles. All new patient forms will be completed via our patient portal which will be set up for you at time of scheduling. We require paperwork to be completed 3 business days prior to your appointment. If you are not able to do so, we will reschedule to allow time to complete the forms thoroughly and accurately. If you do not show for your scheduled appointment or cancel less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, a $200 no show fee will be applied. We understand that life happens so please give us a call if you need to reschedule.
Schedule After Completion of Forms
If you prefer to not place a deposit for your appointment, you may also schedule after completion of forms. This will ensure that we have all information prior to scheduling and avoid need for rescheduling due to not completing the forms. The No Show/Late cancellation rate of $200 will apply if you do not show or reschedule less than 24 hours prior to your appointment.
